It's OK to print a map of the area to use WITH OUR DRIVING DIRECTIONS shown above, but do NOT use driving directions provided by any mapping program! Every mapping program can give crazy driving directions, because none of these programs knows if a road is a narrow 4 wheel drive mountain road or a nice paved road.
There are many dirt roads around the Highland Park area, and some are nearly impassable with a minivan or car pulling a trailer. Do not come in on Treat Mountain Rd off Hwy 100. Definitely do NOT go down Fire Mountain/Fire Tower Rd. Bailey Rd is also dirt road, lots of potholes and some tight turns, not recommended, but can be negotiated at a slow pace. If you come in from Esom Hill, the west end of Culp Lake Rd is dirt, but passable with a minivan and a trailer.
